DURHAM REAL ESTATE SALES STILL STRONG
DURHAM REGION NOVEMBER 19, 2009 – The Durham Region Association of REALTORS®
(DRAR) reported 344 sales in the first half of November ’09, an increase of 50% from the 230 sales reported mid-month in November ’08.
“The average selling price continued to show growth with an increase of 5% ($284,085) from the $270,790 recorded at the same time last year,” said Debbie Dawson, 2009 DRAR President. With sales soaring and with active inventory down 42% (1677) from the 2884 recorded mid November ‘08; the market continues to favour the seller.”
